Lather With Love
This initiative is a collaborative effort of local churches and community non-prots, collectively known as the Chippewa Falls Mission Coalition. Our mission is to unite in serving the community through joint social ministry projects while also supporting each other’s individual outreach efforts.
For the month of April, we are focusing on an urgent need identied by local food pantries: essential soaps. We’re collecting laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, shampoo, and hand soap to help meet this critical demand.

Thank you to all that that helped make our April CFMC “Lather With Love” Soap Mission a rousing success, either through Donations, Volunteering and/or Prayers. This is actually the first outreach mission the CFMC started in 2011 and it continues today, 15 years later.
Kari Allen sent some pictures of the Our Saviour’s Youth Group that helped sort all the various soap products on April 29th. (Attached Below.)
Their enthusiasm was amazing. They were actually joined by some of the younger kids and parents that showed up for their Wednesday evening meal.
This year we collected 123 Laundry Soap Containers, 96 Dish Wash Soaps, 491 Hand/Body Soaps, 107 Shampoo/Conditioner and 82 Misc. Health Items … for close to 900 soap items collected.
TOTAL NUMBER OF WASH LOADS PROVIDED BY THOSE 123 LAUNDRY SOAP CONTAINERS …7,590 LOADS OF WASH! “Yay God!”
“Lather With Love” Soap Items were passed along to the following Local Food Pantries … St. Francesca Resource Center … Valley Vineyard Pantry … First Presbyterian Pantry … English Lutheran of Bateman Pantry … LE Phillips CDC Chippewa Outreach Pantry … Chippewa Valley High School Pantry … and Agnes’ Table YMCA Pantry.
